The people that own this company, NightByrd, really care about what they are doing, and it shows. Their work is gorgeous, thoughtful, and completely handmade. I love to buy handmade, and based on the popularity of sites like handmade pledge, it seems that I am not alone. Some of us like the designs, some like to support artists, some want items that become heirlooms rather than contribute to landfills, and some just like handmade goods for their own reasons, but it comes down to this, handmade items have value that big box shops and mass produced items can't match.
